And then you glide off into...Yeah, that's happened to me a couple of times over the years - after I've upgraded gliders and not completely dialed into the new changes in performance. Luckily for me, I've been able pull in and safely glide to the next hillside - making a safe-but-embarrassing landing.

I shudder at the thought. Though, you'd never have enough energy to make it over it as long as you aimed for the vertical middle of the steep hill. Now a shallow hill-side could be another story.
