Sounds like it would be good for harness skid plates that could be easily molded to form and resist abrasion. Os course this reminds me of Zylon fiber that was far stronger than Kevlar and when used in bullet proof vest resulted in several deaths because it had a hidden flaw--water weakened the fibers.

I use some Vectran lines on my boat and have been amazed by its strength and low stretch characteristics.

This company has woven Vectran into a cloth

I'm sure the cloth is absurdly expensive but it has some properties that make suitable for aviation. It's stable under UV, isn't impacted by water, very low stretch, resistant to wrinkles.
