So many sites in NorCal are either directly or indirectly affected by all the fires around here. At best, many of our most popular sites are blanketed in a thick haze, with the stench of smoke making flying unpleasant. At the worst, several favorite summertime sites are off-limits, due to their proximity to the blazes. I think the smoke has spread well into Nevada and Oregon, making some of those sites pretty nasty, too.

Who is getting airtime in this region with all these fires, and what's it like at the site(s) you've flown in the past few weeks?

Note Medford air quality is actually "Hazardous" right now - deadly to breathe!
