Campers,
It's almost time for the Thunderbirds here, June 25 & 26, 2016. Check the web page below for FAQs, and there are lists of prohibited and permitted items linked on the web site. The "airshow map" they linked is a mess (typical), so check back for updates. There will be a lot of great planes on static display, along with the airshow performers.

The airbase is about 50 minutes north of the I-15 & I-80 intersection (SLC, UT). There will be some transit buses & commuter trains available, but plan on a lot of walking, in any case. Bring water, a hat, and an umbrella is good, rain or shine.
Also, attached to the airbase is the free Hill Aerospace Museum. Good on any day, all year long, except closed on Sundays,

The museum website is kinda lame, but click through the EXHIBITS list for a taste of what is one of the best U.S. military aircraft collections this side of Wright-Patterson AFB in Ohio. History buffs, it takes about a day, to check out everything they have at the Aerospace Museum.
