On this day all Americans should pause to remember the sacrifices of
so many to keep us free.

Don't thank veterans today, as one I can say it's not about that. Today we remember those who have fallen in battle to protect the rest of us. May they rest in peace.

The Video pays tribute to both!

As a military brat born it the 50's I know full well the difference in the
two days!!!

We are down to just a few short years and the greatest generation will
be gone forever, forgotten in time. The disdain for our fallen and military
service's has never been at such a hi level as it is today. That was put
on full display for the whole world to see as that Fuking A$$ Wipe lying
muslim dog disgraced our country and the sacrifice of our military, while
trying to rewrite history.

I will alway honor the memory of every member of the armed forces
that have served in battle protecting the freedoms we enjoy today!!
Whether they lost their lives in battle or old age. If that offends you,
so be it.

As both a military brat and a 22-year veteran I can truthfully say that the disdain for the military is at the lowest level that I have seen in decades. I hear good things about military service and get thanked by random people all the time when they see my military ID or hear that I served.
Think back to the 'Nam years if you want recall the highest level of disdain for the military. The actions of some blowhards in the media or government don't speak for the attitudes and feelings of the people.

Talking about the WH disdain, not the citizens!!

I lived through going to the airport to pickup my dad when he came
back from Nam and my whole family got spit on as we walked out! The
public disdain was at the highest then.

Memorial Day remembrance flight... I gave a salute and thanks to those that served at 14,700 ft in front of Mt Whitney on Sunday.

Those men and women that serve and have served deserve all of our respect.
