Yeah, lots of space, but it is still hard to find a place to land! I need to sharpen up my landing precision.

I like the middle photo too. I don't often get out early enough in the year to see the trees bare like that. (It is too cold!)

Added some ground-based pics I took at Bell Hill:

(I left my wing camera at home, so I did not fly.)

i am on holiday (at home) so able to fly mid-week, increasing my chances of a good flight by a factor of 3.5... It paid off on 5th July 2016:

I made the cover of the magazine, September-October 2016. (Gotta keep up with Jonathan D in the photo stakes, although he has the center spread!)

See it here:

Furthermore, this photo of mine taken in July is on the cover of the 2017 hang gliding calendar:

Nice shot, congratulations !!

The dark area on the sea surface creates the optical illusion you are ripping the front page with your right wing. Cool :mosh:

It took pure flying skill to line up with that dark streak.

It struck me that it looks like the black color of the wing is somehow staining the sea.

I assume the dark area is seaweed on a reef. You can see it at upper left of this photo taken on the same day:

I'm running out of steam. Nick's been printing 3-year old photos. I better get back to work.
